How to sign up and get into events

Prior to the convention there are a limited number of seats (typically only 1/3 of each game) for first-come-first served sign ups. The number of seats available for early sign up is listed in the event description on the CelestiCon web page. To early register for an event you must be registered with the convention.

Starting in 2015, Badge numbers will no longer be needed for pre-convention game reservations, but you will still need to be registered for the convention!

Only reserve one game per gaming session. The first digit of the game's Event ID is the session number. Also, do not sign up for games whose times overlap. This could cause both requests to be rejected by the system.

Starting Monday, August 17 at 12:01 am you can submit your early sign up on the Event Listing web page of the event you are interested in. To see all the events, Scheduled Events page.

At the convention you can sign up for games and events by going to the Registration Desk or the Game Library desk and filling out a game sign up slip. These slips will be periodically collected and your information will be entered into our game sign up software. This gives everyone random but weighted chance to get into games in a fair manner.

For game sign up cut off times and session hours, please see below or check the convention book. Game signup results are posted about one hour after the last time to sign up for a session.

You can also walk up to a game at its beginning to see if there are any open spaces for players.

Games and events will be running around the clock from Friday at noon until Monday at 5:00 pm.
